Warranty
Artsana India Private Limited ("Artsana") warrants that its products sold in India shall, under normal use and service, be free from manufacturing defects during the applicable warranty period, subject to the terms and conditions set out below.
1. Warranty Period
The applicable warranty period for each product shall be the warranty period specifically mentioned on the product packaging and/or the MRP sticker affixed to the product ("Applicable Warranty Period"), commencing from the date of purchase as evidenced by the original purchase invoice.
Some products supplied with global user manuals may contain warranty terms or warranty periods applicable to other countries or jurisdictions. Such warranty terms or periods are not applicable to products sold in India. For products sold in India, these Warranty Terms and the warranty period mentioned on the product packaging and/or MRP sticker shall exclusively govern the warranty applicable in India.
2. Scope of Warranty
This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects identified during the Applicable Warranty Period.
Upon verification and acceptance of a valid warranty claim, Artsana may, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective product (or the defective part thereof). Repair or replacement under this warranty shall be the customer's sole remedy under this warranty.
Artsana shall use reasonable efforts to complete the repair or replacement within a reasonable time but shall not be liable for any delay or for providing any standby or substitute product during the repair or replacement process.
3. Products Covered
This warranty applies only to genuine Artsana products purchased new in India through purchased new in India from Artsana or its authorised sales channels.
4. Proof of Purchase
To avail warranty benefits, the customer must safely retain and produce the original purchase invoice as proof of purchase. Production of the original purchase invoice is mandatory for availing warranty benefits.
5. Exclusions
This warranty shall not apply to defects or damage resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear;
- Misuse, abuse, negligence, improper handling or improper storage;
- Failure to use the product in accordance with the user manual or instructions;
- Accidental damage, impact, dropping or transportation damage;
- Exposure to water, liquids or other external contaminants (where not intended);
- Battery leakage (where applicable);
- Ingress of foreign objects or substances;
- Repairs, modifications or servicing by any person other than Artsana or its authorised service centre;
- Use of non-approved accessories, spare parts or attachments;
- Any cause other than a manufacturing defect.
6. Warranty after Repair or Replacement
Where a product is repaired or replaced under warranty, the warranty shall continue only for the unexpired portion of the original Applicable Warranty Period.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Artsana's liability under this warranty shall be limited solely to repair or replacement of the defective product.
Artsana shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, including but not limited to loss of use, inconvenience, loss of data, loss of business, or any other consequential loss arising out of the use of the product.
In no event shall Artsana's liability exceed the purchase price of the product.
8. Transportation
This is a carry-in warranty.
Customers shall be responsible for delivering the product to the location designated by Artsana or its authorised service centre. Any transportation or shipping costs not expressly covered by Artsana shall be borne by the customer.
9. Jurisdiction
These warranty terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this warranty shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at New Delhi.
